Lago Vista, Texas Information

Lago Vista is a city in Travis County, Texas, United States. The population was 4,507 at the 2000 census, and 5,573 in the 2005 census estimate.

Geography

Lago Vista (vistalago) is located on the north shore of Lake Travis, 20 miles (32 km) northwest of Austin.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 9.4 square miles (24.2 km), of which, 8.7 square miles (22.6 km) of it is land and 0.6 square miles (1.7 km) of it (6.94%) is water.
